Dai Sho : beautiful matching Daisyo koshirae and swords.

Dai : Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae (NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper)
Signature : (Kikumon)Yamashiro kami Fujiwara Kunikiyo

Shinto: Josaku: Wazamono cutting test ranking:Echizen province.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single hbaki.
Blade length : 69.7 cm or 27.44 inches.
Sori : 2.11 cm or 0.83 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.06 cm or 1.20 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.11 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanei era.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick and bo-hi is engraved both side.
Rather deep sori and longer kissaki nich looking shape.
Jitetsu : Itame had well frained with jinie attach zanguri had like Kunihiro.
Hamon : Niedeki with deep nioikuchi like morning mist suguha based gonome midair mixed.
In Ha, there are sunagashi and kinsuji work.

Special feature : Yamashiro kami Fujiwara Kunikiyo is a son of the Sukemune
born at Sinsyu Matsumoto province.
After that he studied under the Kunihiro and studied a lot.
He changed his name to Kunikiyo and after that Kanei 4th, he got the title of the Yamshiro Daijyo.
and after that he changed to Yamashiro Kami.
After his great master Kunihiro passed away, he moved to Matsumoto Sinsyu province.
He moved to Echizen province followed Daimyo Matsudaira who was ordered to move Echizen
by Tokugawa Syogun. This era is his most rounded years.
He passed away Keian 2nd 60 years of age.
This sword is quite active like Kunihiro Jigane and Hamon.
Generally Kunihiro made suguha hamon but this sword is quite difference.
