Katana in Shirasaya, with Koshirae.(NBTHK Kicho paper for the blade.
NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho paper for the Koshirae.)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Mumei(Naminohira) belongs to Jyosaku ranking.
The blade was polished
Habaki : Silver single foiled habaki
Blade length : 70cm or 27.55 inches.
Sori : 1.3cm or 0.51 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.88cm or 1.13 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.28cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.6cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : MIddle Muromachi Period
Shape : It is regular width and thickness. It has wide Shinogiji. Kissaki is long ended.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with mixture of O-Itame hada.
There is feeling of Masa hamon. Chikei work is attached.
Hamon : Nie Deki Suguha. Boshi is round ended.

Special feature : Jigane is dark which brings out the O-hada pattern.
It is Kushu-Mono work that could be attributed as Naminohira or early peirod
Kushu-Mono.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Round shape iron tsuba with Bushi design engraved and inlaid
with gold, silver and bronze. The signature is Yoshiie.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanakoji plate with Bushi design engraved and inlaid with gold.
Saya: Black Roiro saya
Menuki : Shakudo plate with Bushi design engraved.
