Katana

Daisho : Kawachi Kami Kunisuke (2nd generation)

Daisho in Shirasaya (Both daisy is NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper.)

Dai(Katana) : Signature : Kawachi Kami Kunisuke (2nd generation)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belonges to Jyo-jyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 69.6 cm or 27.40 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.12 cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.14 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is rather wide with small sori Kanbun style.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture which is called Oosaka jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha from the hamachi and then Cyoji midair Kobushi Cyoji midair with ash and sunagashi,
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Kawachi (No) kami Kunisuke the Second, commonly known Naka-Kawachi forged this katana.
From the brilliant hamon, he is also called Shinto-Ichimonji.
He come into forging sword around Keian era, in the mid-seventeenth century and passed away in 1698.
It is said that he created Kobushigata-choji hamon, fist-shaped temperline.
It won applause at that time and still has great appeal in modern times.
Kunisuke's sword has a tendency curved slightly.
The same thing can be said of Yasusada.
This sword is very nice Jigane and active Kobushi Cyoji midair hamon.

Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : This wakizasi is very active powerful Kobushi Cyoji midare.
