Meiou 1nen 8 gatsu hi (August 1492)

Sue-Koto: Josaku: Bizen province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku) This blade is Jo-saku.
The blade was polished
Habaki : Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 64.24 cm or 25.29 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.84 cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.84 cm or 0.72 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Muromachi period around Meiou era(1492).
Shape : Regular size Katana with deep Sori. Katate-Uchi Katana.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada and Mikume-Hada mix with Jinie attach.
The Jigane is beautiful.
Hamon : Nie Deki, wide Suguha, deep Nioikuchi. In Ha, there are Sunagashi and Kinsuji.

Special feature : Bishu Osafune Arimitsu is sword smiths who were active from Bunmei era.
This blade was made by 1st generation. He is famous sword smith in Bizen province.
This Jigane is so beautiful with Jinie and Utsuri.
The blade is remarkable piece of Katate-Uchi work.

Koshirae : Han-Tachi Koshirae.
Tsuba : Round shape iron Tsuba with gold color. The rim was covered with gold.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Ishimeji, the family crest is engraved.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Shakudo, dragon is engraved.
Kojiri: Shakudo Ishimeji.
