Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae (NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho Paper)

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver double habaki.
Blade length : 66.7 cm or26.25 inches.
Sori : 1.3 cm or 0.51 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.97 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.14 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Genbun Era.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with small sori healthy blade.
Jitetsu : Itame hada and mokume hada mix with jinie attach nice texture.
Hamon : Nioideki gunome midare and Cyoji midare mixed.
In Hamon, ash Yo work.

Special feature : Yoshu Matsuyama Ju Fujiwara Kuniteru started early Edo period and continued to 7th generation.
This Kuniteru belongs to 4th generation. He studied under the 2nd generation Oumi Kami Hisamichi.
This blade looks Ouei Bizen school.
Probably he adored to Morimitsu and made the sword as copy of Morimtsu.

Tsuba : Busyu Jyu Masa?On the iron Mokko style Tsuba, daffodils are engraved.
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo nanako plate, a dragon is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black roar saya.
Menuki : A dragon is engraved by syakudo plate with gold color.
