Meiou 6 nen 8 gatsu hi.(August 1497)

Sue Koto :Saijyo saku ranking: Oowaza mono cutting test ranking:Bizen school.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 60cm or 23.62 inches.
Sori :2.2 cm or 0.86 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.8cm or 1.10 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.83cm or 0.72 inches.
Kasane : 0.76cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period Meiou era.
Shape : The blade is called Katateuchi style sword
which style was used at middle Muromachi period.
The blade has Bo-Hi and soehi on both sides of the blade.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach and midair utsuri appear.
Hamon : Nioideki and konie deck mixed cyoji midair with ash and yo work.
Boshi is midarekomi style.

Special feature : Bisyu Osafune Katsumitsu was working from Bunmei to Eisyo era mainly.
From the Jigane and nice Cyoji midair hamon, Katsumitsu
ranks Saijyo saki ranking and Oowazamono cutting test ranking.
Some sword collectors think Bisyu mei is called Kazuuchi mono
but Kazuuchi mono is mentioned just only Late Muromachi period Eiroku to Tensyo era.
Eisyo and Meiou bunmei era, there is not Kazuuchimono.
This blade is active nice Jigane with Utsuri and fantastic cyoji midair hamon.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :Oval shape iron stub, painted black color Urusi and engraved 2 crane right and left side.
Fuchikashira :On the syakudo nanako plate, horse tools and Kabuto are engraved with gloss color.
Saya : Kawarinuri saya.
Menuki : Samurai is engraved by syakudo plate with gold color.
