Tanto in Koshirae

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single habaki.
Blade length : 29.4cm or 11.57 inches.
Sori : Uchizori
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.44 cm or 0.96 inches.
Kasane : 0.49 cm or 0.19 inches.
Era : Early to middle Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is regular size longer tanto.
Jitetsu : Item had flow and visible to see the shirake utsuri.
Hamon : Konie deki hoso suguha tighe and bright.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : The Jigane was good koitame had but right now rather item and flow.
So the blade might be Chikushi Ryokai or Bingo school.
The blade is not so good condition but we feel old Koto feeling and interesting subject.

Koshirae : Silver issaku aikuchi Koshirae.
Fuchikashira : On the silver plate, some leaves design are engraved.
Menuki : On the silver plate, a deer and flowers are engraved.
Kojiri : On the silver plate, some leaves design are engraved.
Kurikata : On the silver plate, some leaves design are engraved.
