Special feature : Kawachi (Kami) Minamoto Nagakuni is said that the student of Hojoji Kunimasa.
He was swordsmith of Kumamoto Hosokawa family and comunicated with students of the great Master Miyamoto Musashi.
According to the many books, Musashi’s favorite sword was Nagakuni but I think he was connected of the many student of the Miyamoto Musashi especially Murakami Masao.
Miyamoto Musashi was staying at Hosokawa family’s resident for some years.
Probably at that period Musashi might contactd with Nagakuni.
His back part of the signature is very precious Saidanmei cutting test Ogesa-otoshi.
I think from the shape of the Nakago and jigane and also Hamon, The blade looks similar to Yasusada.
We recommend this well known sword maker Nagakuni which was loved by Miyamoto Musashi. I think Nagakuni is Jojo saku ranking not Chujyo Saku ranking which is written on the book.
