Signature : Chikushu Ju Kunimitsu Saku
Heisei 12th Year May Lucky day (May 2000)

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 72.8cm or 28.66 inches.
Sori : 1.8cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.28cm or 1.29 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.35cm or 0.92 inches.
Kasane : 0.73cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Modern
Shape : It is wide and thick nice katana with some sori.
There is bouri engraved at both sides.
Jitetsu: Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached.
It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki gunome midare with deep Nioifguchi. There is fine sunagashi ans kinsuji works. Boushi is midarekomi style.

Special feature : Chikushu Jyu Kunimitsu was born in Showa 34th Year April 26th at Fukuoka prefecture. His grandfather is famous Kunimitsu and has studied forging skills from him. He has won Prize of Excellence, and Prize of Effort.
It is one of highly expected sword smith.
This piece has succeeded the Soden Bizen piece and it is deep nioiguchi and finely made piece. It is a katana that resembles Kanenaga.
It is well balanced piece that is nice for display or even as Iai practice.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Mokko shape iron Tsuba, with reaf and brush are engraved.
Fuchikashira : Silver.
Saya : Dark Brown Ishimeji saya.
Menuki : Silver plate with scull design engraved.
