Katana : Ecchu Fujiwara Kanekuni

Katana in Shirasaya (NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Paper)

Signature : Ecchu Fujiwara Kanekuni.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku, Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Ecchu Fujiwara Kanekuni belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished. (small rust on the edge)

Shinto : Cyujyo saku ranking : Wazamono cutting test ranking : Yamato.
Habaki : Gold failed single habaki.
Blade length : 68.7 cm or 27.04 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.92 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.1 cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Edo period Enpo era. period.
Shape : The blade is regular size with small sori and longer kissaki.
On both sides of the blade has Bo-Hi.
Jitetsu :Itame hada well grained with jinie attach and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunime midare and Cyoji midare mixed.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Ecchu Fujiwara Kanekuni is called Tsutsui Kyuzaemon who was a student of Tanba Kami Yoshimichi.
Generally even though he was a student of the Yoshimichi, He doesn't make Sudareba hamon.
The atmosphere is Yamato province.
This sword has a small rust on the Ha, but it will be polish away polishing.
