Katana in Shirasaya (NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho Paper)

Signature:Mumei (Unsigned) attributed as Reizen Sadamori.

The blade was polished by good polisher.
Habaki :gols foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 66.3 cm or 26.10 inches.
Sori : 2 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi:3
Width at the hamachi : 2.84 cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.12 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Nanbokucyo period.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened)
with deep sori and double hi is engraved.
Jitetsu :Itame had and mokume had mixed
with jinie attach and chikei appear nice jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha based with a lot of Yo and kasha scatter.

Special feature : Reizen Sadamori was working
at Chikuzen province as Kongo Hyoei school.
The blade looks Aoe school especially Jigane is beautiful texture.
If we submit the blade, the shins will be changed to another sword maker. Even though oohed appear on the Ji, the jigane and Hamon are very attractive Nanbokucyo blade.
