This Hoshu Takada Ju Fujiwara Yukinaga belongs to Jyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 63.8 cm or 25.11 inches.
Sori : 1.1 cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.07cm or 1.20 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.97 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.71 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : Thick blade.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha. Boshi is round shape hakkake style.

Special feature : Hosyu Takada Jyu Yukinaga was working at Bungo Takada.
Generally Bungo school is well known cut well sword.
This blade is typical Takada school nice Katana.
The Hamo looks like Omi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro.
