Signature : Kaga no Kami Fujiwara Morimichi

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Kaga no Kami Fujiwara Morimichi is Jyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single habaki.
Blade length : 60.6 cm or 23.85 inches.
Sori : 1.3 cm or 0.51 inches.
Mekugi : 2 (1 is open, 1 is filled.)
Width at the hamachi : 3.22 cm or 1.26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.33 cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun
Shape : It is wide and thick magnificent shape work.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Suguha from the Hamachi and then gunome midare and active up and down style.
Boshi is round and deep turn back.

Special feature : Kaga no kami Fujiwara Morimichi is a sword smith of
early Edo period who moved from Mino to Owari and gained success.
He has made more sword that is wide and thick.
Although he was not famous, the swords he made were all rustic swords that express well the calm period of the late sengoku(wartime) era.

Koshirae :
Tsuka : This Tsuka needs Tsukamaki. ¥20,000 will be added.
Tsuba : On the round shape iron Tsuba, Japanese wisterias flowers openwork is carved.
Fuchikashira : On shakudou nanakoji plate, family crest is engraved.
Saya : Red color saya.
Menuki : On the brass plate, fish design is engraved with gold color.
