Signature:Kanenobu. shiga seki school.

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 73.48 cm or 28.92 inches.
Sori : 1.96 cm or 0.77 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.92 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.88 cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Middle to Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair and noter mixed.

Special feature : This sword is called as Shiga seki school Kanenobu.
Kanenobu was working at Mino province and moved to Shiga province.
Some sword makers moved to Naoe and called Naoe shies.
The Kanonobu' s jigane is rather item nagger with jinie attach strong feeling.
This sword is rathe calm and relaxed feeling Jigane and Hamon.
NBTHK doesn't judge whether the blade is good signature or not. Horyu.

Tsuba : On the brass round shaped stub, some Karakusa designed leaves are inlayed by brass.
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo nanako plate, some family cressts are engraved with syakudo and gold color.
On this fiche, 2 family crests are missing.
Saya : Dirk brown color.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate, a horse is engraved by syakudo plate.
Kogai : On the syakudo plate, flower is engraved with gold color.
