The blade was polished
Habaki : Silver Single Foiled Habaki
Blade length : 70.0 cm or 27.56 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.71 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.22 cm or 1.27 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.45 cm or 0.96 inches.
Kasane : 0.71 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo Period, Genroku 3rd Year(1690)
Shape : There is 3 cm Machiokuri(cutted nakago). It is wide and thick nice sori sword. It is magnificent piece.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached.
There is midture of mokume hada and it is clear jigane.
Hamon : Nie structure with deep nioiguchi hamon.
The shape is gunome midare with ashi attached.
There is sunagashi and kinsuji works. Boushi is round ended.

Special feature : Oumi no kami MInamoto HIsamichi was called Hori Rokuroubee and was a student of second generation Iganokami Kinmichi.
He had three names. He worked as one of 5 Kyoto kaji.
After receiving the name of Oumidaijyo he has received Oumikami.
Shoutoku first year(1711) he has passed away at the age of 85.
He was successful from the Kanbun period to Shoutoku period first year.
This sword is wide and thick firm piece.
The many activities in the blade and the cutting edge that is across shinogiji is marvelous.
We recommend this healthy first generation Hisamichi.
I think this sword will be one of the top quality sword.
It is very few swords like this Uramei (nengo).
The blade is very nice Jigane and hamon without Kizu and flow.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Oval shape iron tsuba with gold inlay.
There is Fukurin covered and full bloom cherry blossom engraved on the plate partly open work. Late Edo Period.
Fuchikashira : Brass plate with wave pattern engraved and inlayed with gold.
Saya : Black Roiro saya.
Menuki : Shakudo plate with plant pattern engraved. Ko-Kinko.
