Signature : Minamoto Yoshichika Saku Kore Second Generation

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku) This blade is Jyo saku.
The blade has high quality polished
Habaki : It is a Habaki from Kikusui-To of Minato Gawa Shrine
Blade length : 69.8cm or 27.48inches.
Sori : 2cm or 0.79inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.25cm or 1.28inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.17cm or 0.85inches.
Kasane : 0.71cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Showa
Shape : It is wide and thick deep sori nice shape katana.
Jitetsu :Ko-Itame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki Gunome midare with clear and deep Nioiguchi Hamon.
The Boshi is round ended.

Special feature : Minamoto Yoshichika, his real name Mori Hisasuke,
has been living in Tokyo Shiba Mishima Cho and made swords
from Tasho to Showa Period. There is first generation and second generation work.
This blade was made and signed by Second generation.
This sword was made for the general officer of the Imperial court.
This katana has a habaki that is made as Kikusui-To of Minatogawa Shrine.
It is rare and long rare katana.
There is no flaw wonderful work.

Historical background: It is a sword made during World War 2.
