The blade was polished.
Blade length : 40.4 cm or 1.14 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.9 cm or inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.35 cm or 0.92 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.

Era : Edo period. Kanbun era.
Shape : Wide and thick Wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Itame hada grained. Hadatachi. Masanagare. There are Oohada.
Hamon : Nie deki Suguha. There are Ko-Ashi and Nezumi-Ashi. Boshi is round shape style.

Special feature : The signature is mentioned as Hizen koku ju Tadahiro saku.
But unfortunately the signature is not good. We think that is Gimei.
So we don't guarantee the signature.
But the blade itself wonderful Wakizashi.
If remove the signature, the blade will pass the NBTHK Hozon.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Round shape iron Tsuba, leaves are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo nanako, horses are engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black Same-gawa Saya(ray skin).
