Katana: Mumei (Chiyozuru-Morihiro)

The blade was polished.
habaki:silver double habaki.
Blade length : 69.24 cm or 27.27 inches.
Sori : 1.53 cm or 0.60 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.30 cm or 1.29 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.15 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era :Early Muromachi period.1394.
Shape : The blade is Ubu nakago with wide
and thick with deep sori nice looking shape.
On the Kisskai area mune, there is a deep Kirikomi which is called Homare Kizu.
Jitetsu :Itame had and mokume hada mixed with jinie attach and chikei work and also nice Utsauri appear.
Hamon : niedeki suguha with shi, Yo, scatter in Ha.

Special feature : Chiyozuru-Morihiro was a son of the Chiyozuru Kuniyasu who was called Kamo Saburo.
Ancester of the Morihiro was Rai school and moved to Echizen province. The blade is wide and thick well balanced gorgeous shape.
The jigane is very nice and active hamon and the Kirikomi kizu is deep which is a evidence of intense battling.
The sword is healthy without kizu and nice shape and good work.
We recommend this healthy blade which has passed more than 600 years.
