The blade was polished by Mukansa top ranking polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 68.0 cm or 26.77 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.64 cm or 1.03 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.78 cm or 0.7 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Late Kamakura period.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened) attributed as Yamato Shizu.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach and small chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare with soft Habuchi and kasha, Yo scatter in Ha.
Boshi is also fine habuchi midarekomi with kinsuji.

Special feature : Yamato shizu lived in Yamato province which school was famous Shizu Saburo Kaneuji.
This blade is similar with Masamune.
The Jigane is wonderful and nice Hamon which was polished by Mukansa polisher.
