The blade was polished.
Blade length : 76.2 cm or 30.0 inches.
Sori : 2.6 cm or 1.02 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.08 cm or 1.21 inches.
Kasane : 0.42 cm or 0.16 inches.
Era : Late Kamakura period
Shape : On both side, there are Bohi. The blade is wide and thick with rather deeper sori nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Ooitamehada and Hadatachi style. Jinie attached.
There is Shirake-Utsuri on Jitetsu.
Hamon : Suguha with many Sunagashi. Boshi is round Hakikake shape.

Special feature : Mihara school had been prospered from late Kamakura
to late Muromachi period in Bingo province present Okayama prefecture.
The representative swordsmiths were Masaie and Masahiro.
Especially the works of last Kamakura period to Namboku-cho period
are called Ko-Mihara, and are distinguished from the later period.
Rising above the times, the school had been influenced by the Yamato School.
