Ansei 3 nen 8 Gatdsuhi(1856 3rd August)

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single Kasyu habaki.
Blade length : 67.27 cm or 26.48 inches.
Sori : 2.1 cm or 0.82 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.17cm or 1.24 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.30 cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is regular thickness and nice sori good looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach well grained jigane.
Hamon : Konie deki gunome midair and square shape hamon mixed.

Special feature : Kasyu Kiyomitu's nakago is unusual shape from the first generation and later this generation.
The Hamon looks like first generation Kanewaka.
Probably He remind this sword and tried to make Hamomidare hamon.
The blade is good condition without Kizu and flow.

Koshirae : The Koshirae is very good condition.
Tsuba : On the syakudo nanako plate, the rim os engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira : On the Syakudo nanako plate, a dragon is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black kizami saya.
Menuki : A autumn insect is engraved with gold dots.
