Middole Koto: Jyosaku ranking:Oowazamono cutting test ranking:Bizen province. Fujishiro Koto Taijan.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku) This sword Yoshikage is Jyojyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
habaki: Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 69.5 cm or 27.36 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Width at the hamachi : 3.24 cm or 1.27 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.72 cm or 1.07 inches.
Kasane : 0.76 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era :Nanbokucyo period.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened)
with wide (3.24cm) and long kissaki gorgeous nice attractive shape.
On the front a fat shindig hi is engraved kakinagashi style.
On the back, narrow shindig hi is engraved kakinagashi style.
Jitetsu :Itame had and mokume had mixed
with jinie attach and midair utsuri appear.
Hamon : Niedeki cyoji midare, gunome midare and also sakasa cyoji midare work.
Boshi is midarekomi nad Yakizume style.
Special feature : Yoshikage is said that Yoshikage is a student of the Bizen Kagemitsu.
He made huge swords dousing Nanbokucyo period.
So some blades were suruage nakago during Edo period.
This sword is Oosuriage mumei but the blade is wide and thick with ookissaki style sword.
This sword is called Soden bizrn which maens the blade was made mixed up Bizen and Sosyu school.
This sword remind us Kanemitsu or Cyogi.
The blade is active Gunome Cyoji midare and sakasa cyoji midare mixed marvelous sword.
