The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single habaki.
Blade length : 74.6 cm or 29.37 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.25 cm or 1.27 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 0.74 cm or 0.29 inches.
Kasane : 2.51 cm or 0.98 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is wide(3,25cm) and thick with small sori with long kissaki which is heavily-boned sword.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attach with small chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with ashi.Boshi is midarekomi style.

Special feature : The blade is wide and thick and niekuzure hamon and long kissaki which remind us shinshinto style.
It is rather difficult to distinguish who made this sword but I think a swordmaker in Edo.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the iron tsuba, some design are inlayed by brass.
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo wrinkle designe are engraved.
Saya : Black cherry tree trunk motif are painted by urushi nuri unusual design.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate, some waves are engraved with gold color.
