The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki:Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 69.9 cm or 27.51 inches.
Sori : 1.9 cm or 0.74 inches.
Mekugi : 4
Width at the hamachi : 2.87 cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.88 cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Late Kamakura period Syoou era 1288(700 years ago)
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened) wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame had and mokume had mixed and masa nagger with jinie attach and chikei work.
Hamon : Konie deck kogunome midair and cyoji midair mixed with Yo and small kinsuji work.
Special feature : This sword was attributed as Yoshioka Ichimonji and also sayagaki by Kanzan sensei.
But NBTHK recentl issued as Hatakeda Sanemori as NBTHK Tokubetsu hozon paper.
Hatakeda Sanemori was a son of the Hatakeda Iesuke who was called Umanosuke.
In Hatakeda school, Moriie, Samnemori and Mitsumori are well known sword makers.
Jigane is slightly difference between Bizen and Hatakeda school.
Hatakeda school's Jigane is rather massage contain in the Ji.
The blade looks like Ichimonji school.
Some Sanemori designated as National treasure or Jyuyo Bijyutu.
The sword itself healthy and good work.
Probably the blade was belonged to famous Daimyo family for a long period.
