Signature : Mumei(Unsigned)
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Copper single foiled habaki
Blade length :  71cm or  27.96 inches.
Sori :  0.6cm or  0.24inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.33cm or  1.31inches.
Width at the Kissaki :  2.4cm or  0.94inches.
Kasane :  0.76cm or  0.3inches.
Era :  Late Edo period.
Shape : It is wide and thick firm looking katana. There are not many curves.
Jitetsu :Itame hada well grained with mixture of wood pattern mokume hada. JInie is attached.
Hamon : Konie base gunome mixture. Boushi is round and sharp at the end. 
Special feature : Konie base gunome mix. It looks sharp
which is adequate for Iai and bat to.This piece is could be one
of Michiharu of Shinshinto. 
Koshirae : Higo style koshirae
Tsuba :Round shape iron tusba with open work at both end
Fuchikashira : Iron base with flower pattern engraved and inlayed with gold.
Saya : Black rock pattern ishimeji saya. Some kind of pattern is engraved.
Menuki : Copper base with dragon design engraved.
