Blade length : 72.7cm or 28.63inches.
Sori : 2.3 cm or 0.90 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.62 cm or 1.42 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.96 cm or 1.16 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : modern time(February 1999).
Shape : Wide and thick blade with deep sori.
Bo-Hi is on both side.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Gunome Midare and Choji Midare mix.
This is complex and gorgeous Hamon. In Ha, there are Ashi, Yo and Sunagashi.

Special feature : Takehana Shigehisa is a sword smith of Saitama prefecture.
His real name is Takehana Hisashi.
He was born on the13th February, 1951.
In 1972, he learned under Sakai Ikkansai Shigemasa.
He got a lot of prizes at the sword-making competition.
He is good at So-den Bizen in particular.
This blade is a copy of Nagayoshi(Nanbokucho period).
This blade has long Kissaki and gorgeous Hamon.
