Width at the hamachi : 3.60cm or 1.41 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 3.06 cm or 1.20 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Weight of only blade:930grams.
Era : Gendai(modern times)
Shape : The blade is 75,8cm ,width 3,6cm with ookissaki style gorgeous sword.
On both sides of the blade engrave Bo-Hi.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach nice texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with ash, sunagashi and also Kinsuji work.
Boshi is midarekomi style.

Special feature : Akamatsu Taro Kanetsugu is one of a very popular modern swordsmiths who lives at Yatsushiro in Kumamoto pref. His real name is Kimura Kanesada. He was born in 1951 and learned under his father Kimura Kaneshige.
He is one of the students of Akamatsu Taro. The Akamatsu Taro school uses original Tamahagane for making swords so it is not difficult to see their characteristic from the jigane. Kanetsugu mentioned by himself the blade as Kiyomaro Utsushi(copy of Kiyomaro)
In Hamon, there are many sunagashi and also kinsuji work.
Akamatsu Taroo school sword makers head of the school Kanetsugu and other students
cut the signature Akamatsu on the top of the name Kanehiro, Kanemitsu, Kaneteru and Kaneyuki. These sword makers are well repotted as cut well swords.
Especially good swords are engrave on the Tang as Kiyomaro utsushi.
