The blade was polished.
Habaki: Single foiled habaki
Blade length : 64.7cm or 25.47inches.
Sori : 1.8cm or 0.7inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.12cm or 1.23inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.08cm or 0.82inches.
Kasane : 0.68cm or 0.27inches.
Era : Showa period.
Shape : It is normal width and thickness katana
with slight sori. It is healthy piece.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached.
The hada is clear with some fine chikei works seen.
Hamon : Constructed in konie structure, there are kogunome midare with ashi attached.
There are some tobiyaki(spots of burn) in some parts.
Boushi is in round end with mixture of kogunome.

Special feature : Yoshu Hojyo Hiromasa is a sword smith from Ehime prefecture.
He was formally an authorized army sword smith
and has made many nice condition sword.
He was a student of Takahashi Yoshimune.
He has won prizes such as gold prize of Shinsaku NIhonto and also Prime Minister prize.
Hiromasa passed away in Showa 28th year (1953)at age of 45.
