Naginata :Mumei (Shitahara school)

Naginata in Shirasaya

Signature:Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Shitahara school.

The blade was polished
Habaki: silvergold single habaki.
Blade length : 44.7 cm or 17.59 inches.
Sori : 3.3 cm or 1.29 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.73 cm or 1.07 inches.
Kasane : 0.89 cm or 0.35 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : The blade is long size which was used for man's naginata.
On the front, Dokko ken and on the back side, Bonji are engraved.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attach and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with deep nioikuchi and ash, sunagashi work.

Special feature : The blade is unsigned blade but the texture
and Hamon looks like Shitahara school special feature.

We GUARANTEE that this sword will pass NBTHK Hozon paper (There is no hozon paper yet)
