Habaki: Silver Single foil habaki
Blade length : 17.0 cm or 6.69 inches.
Sori : 0
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi :1.79 cm or 0.70 inches.
Kasane : 0.45cm or 0.17 inches.
Era : Muromachi Meiou Period
Shape : Wide width with regular size rather short tanto but it has long nakago.
It is typical tanto of Meiou period.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada with Mokitame mixed. Jinie is attached. There are soft utsuri seen on the jigane.
Hamon : Konie base gonome midare with shoji mixed. There are sunagashi and streaks of kinsuji seen.

Special feature : Bishuu Osafune Ukyou Ryou Katsumitsu is one of the highest rank Shiireuchi name
pieces.
It is very rare to see such tanto that is katakiriba. The condition is rather good.

Koshirae : Black lacquered saya and tsuka with grape leaves drawn with gold.
