Signature : Bizen koku Osafune Sukesada
Tensho Ninenn Hachigatsuhi

Sayagaki : It is written Bizenkoku Osafune Sukesada Tensho Ninnen Hachigatsuhi(Tensho 2nd year August)

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper base silver wrapped.
Blade length : 24.54 cm or 9.66 inches.
Sori : 1.51 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.32 cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period circa Tensho(1573-1592)
Shape : It is ordinary width and thickness. The shape is takenoko sori(it is curved toward the ha). It is nice shape tanto.
Jitetsu : Itame hada with mixture of mokume hada(wood pattern had) Jinie is attached.
Hamon : Nie base suguha with noter mix. There is some ash put.

Special feature : Bizen kook Osafune Sukesada started at early Muromachi period to Edo period.
This sword is one of the mass produced sword however the condition of the nakago is very good.
There is only one mekugi hole and the signature is well engraved.
There are some flaws but it is agreeable if we think of the age.
