Signature : Kinpo Jyo Yaki zan Motte Koto.
Kenryusi Sadaharu Kitae no.

Explanation : Sadaharu made this sword by using Kinpo Castle iron which was burned to the ground.
The blade was polished.
habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 23.9 cm or 9.40 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.38 cm or 0.93 inches.
Kasane : 0.76 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and very thick healthy blade with Gomabashi is engraved.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha and double hamon.
Boshi is midarekomi hakikake style round Yakisage.

Special feature : Kenryusi Sadaharu was a student o of the Gassan Sadayoshi.
The student of Gassan Sadayoshi is famous Gassan sadakazu and others.
The blade was made by old iron which was burnt to the ground Kinpo castle.
So the blade looks old feeling.
The Tanto is well grained healthy blade made by by Sadaharu.
