Habaki: Suaka base
Blade length : 16cm or 6.3inches.
Sori : 0.0cm or 0inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.1cm or  0.83inches.
Kasane : 0.86cm or 0.34inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : It is Kanmuri otoshi piece.
The shape and kasane is thick rather long shape tanto.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada grained. Muji.
Hamon : Nie deki Gunome Midare. In Ha, there are Ashi and Yo.

Special feature : This blade is Kanmuri Otoshi style Tanto.
This Tanto was prevalent in the late Edo period.

Koshirae :
Saya : Brown ishimeji with black lacquer painted.
Kojiri: Shibuichi
Menuki : Shakudou base with flower design engraved. On the front,
there is Fuse god, one of the seven god that is known to bring good luck,
is engraved and inlayed with gold.
Kozuka : Shakudou nanakoji base with probable pure gold engraved
Kogatana : Signature: It is written Chikuzen no kami Taira Nobuhide
