This sword Kunimatsu belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished by one of the top ranking polisher.
Habaki : Pure gold double habaki 26 g
Blade length : 28.6 cm or 11.25 inches.
Sori : No Zori
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.58 cm or 1.01 inches.
Kasane : 0.5 cm or 0.19 inches.
Era : Gendai (Modern times)
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick healthy blade.
Jigane : Koitame hada qwell grained with jinie attach and chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha with thick nioikuchi with soft feeling Habuchi.

Special feature : Kunimatsu is said Truyoshi Miyake under the Hiroki Hirokuni Mukansa swordsmith.
At a glance, the blade looks like old Awataguchi.
The Jigane is perfect well grained with jinie attach and chikei.
Hamon is elegant suguha with thick nioikuchi with soft ashi.
Especially Habuchi is misty morning fog.
The blade is unbelieabable Gendai sword.
The blade is fit for mamorigatana(Sword for self-defense or Marriage dagger(tanto). traditional Japanese samurai's custom)
