The blade was polished.
habaki:wood habaki.
Blade length : 27.42 cm or 10.79 inches.
Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.35 cm or 0.92 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Late Nanbokucyo to early Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is regular size and thick blade.
On both sides of the blade has Bo-hi and soehi are engraved.
Jitetsu :Masame hada well grained with jinie attach and visible to see the Masame hada well.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha ,Uchinoke, double hamon and in Ha, there are ashi
and sunagashi and also small kinsuji work.Boshi is Hakikake round shape.

Special feature : The founder of the Uda school started from Kamakura period to late Muromachi period.
According to the book, this Tanto belongs to elate Nanbokucyo period to early Muromachi Ouei era.
The blade was judged as Udaschool.
It is very nice Masame hada which is typical Uda school nice Tanto.
