The blade is polished.
Habaki :Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 43.6 cm or 17.17 inches.
Sori : 0.7cm or 0.276 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the Hamachi :2.77 cm or 1.1inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.42cm or 0.95 inches.
Kasane :0.63 cm or 0.248 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade has regular size thickness and width with Sakizori style Ookissaki Wakizashi.
Jigane :Koitame Hada well grained with Jinie attaches nice clear Jigane.
Hamon :Hitatsura Hamon and Tobiyaki a lot.
Special feature :Sosyu Tsunahoro started from Muromachi Eisyo era to late Edo period 14th generations.
Most of Tsunahiro's signatures are Sosyu Jyu Tsunahiro so it is very hard to distinguish which generation the blade belongs to.
The signatur is fine but we don't guarantee NBTHK Hozon paper.
The hamon is active and Ookissaki is interesting.
Tsuba : Oval shpe iron tsuba, rise up Mimi(rim) and engraved flying birds, moon and
Fuchi-kashira : Young bambuu is engraved by syakudo plate.
Saya :Black ishimeji style saya.There are some cracks and need to repair.
Menuki : I think solid gold 2 shishi dogs are engeaved: Probably Goto school.
Kojiri:On the syakudo palte, waves and a dragon are engraved.
Kozuka: On the syakudo nananko plate, wild waves and a sun are engraved. On the back, there are some dent.
Kogatana: Poems are mentioned delicate Japanese characters are engraved.
