Signature : Bichu Kuni Azae Ju Kawano Rihei Jo Tameie

The blade was polished.
Habaki: copper single habaki.
Blade length : 59.69 cm or 23.5 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.97 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.93 cm or 0.75 inches.
Kasane : 0.6cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is long size almost Katana length.
The blade is gegular width, thickness with small sori
and longer kissaki.
Jitetsu :Itame hada well grained with jinie attach
and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunime midre with much sunagashi
and kinsuji work. Boshi is Hakikake style.

Special feature :Bichu Kuni Azae Ju Tameie is the brother of Saburou bee Kunishige’s younger brother.
He has been called Kawano Umehira no jyo and his other name Azue Mizuta.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the square shape brass Tsuba, some dragons are engraved. Nanban tsuba.
Fuchikashira :On the syaakudo nanako ji plate with gold color.
Saya : black ishime ji style.
Menuki : several men are engraved by syakudo plate.
