Shinshinto: Chujyosaku: Musashi
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 54.5cm or 21.46inches.
Sori : 2.0cm or 0.79inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.35cm or 0.93inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.38cm or 0.54inches.
Kasane : 0.4cm or 0.16inches.
Era : Late Edo period Circa Yasunaga .
Shape : It is rather thin blade with deep sori. The kissaki is long. Elegant shape wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie structure suguha. Boshi round end.

Special feature : Fujiwara Kuniyoshi is a student of Yamashiro no kami Kunishige. He has been
active at Musashi province. In some of his swords, he has engraved his signature as Oite Toeizan
no fumoto ni oite Fujiwara Kuniyoshi.
While it is a thin sword, the shape is well balanced shape. There is jinie attached on the jigane.
As expected, it is a tachi of a prestigious family.

Tsuba : On shakudo plate, karakusa(arabesque) pattern is engraved and inlayed with gold.
Fuchikashira : On shakudo plate, karakusa pattern is engraved with gold inlay.
Saya : Kinnashiji plate with karakusa pattern engraved and inlayed with gold and shakudo.
Menuki : Crawling dragon design. Copper with cover of gold.
Tsuka: White same
