The blade was polished.
Blade length : 43.1cm or 16.96inches.
Sori : 0.8cm or 0.32inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.92cm or 1.15inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.91cm or 0.75inches.
Kasane : 0.68cm or 0.27inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun.
Shape : It is wide and and thick and firm wakizashi. It is in nice shape.
Jitetsu : Itame hada with mixture of mokume hada and jinie attached.
It is regretted that there are kitae crack on both sides, middle part of shinogiji.
Hamon : Konie base but it is rather close to nioi. It is kogonome midare with kochouji midare.
There are delicated yet soft sunagashi seen in the hamon.
The boushi is round shape.

Special feature : It is difficult to know the detail information of Izuminokami Fujiwara Kunisada but his hamon style is close to Bichuu Tameyasu.
It is estimated that he has been helping a famous swordsmith throughout his life.
