shinto: Josaku ranking :Echizen province.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 54.0 cm or 21.25 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.21 cm or 1.26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.24 cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is very wide and thick good meat healthy blade.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach and chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare with ashi work.

Special feature : The founder of the Kunikiyo was a student of the Kunihiro
and a son of the Shimada Sukemune who is called Kichizaemon.
Second generation Kunikiyo put the Kiku family crest and ichi.
Generally Kunikiyo made suguha hamon but this sword is gunome midare.
This sword is very wide and thick and active gunome midare hamon.
