The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold colored single habaki
Blade length : 48.18 cm or 18.96 inches.
Sori : 1.2cm or 0.47inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.03cm or 1.19inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.95cm or 0.77inches.
Kasane : 0.72cm or 0.28inches.
Era : Edo period Shou ou era(1288-1292)
Shape : It has regular size kasane and sori. Nice shape wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with beautiful jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie base gunome midare mix with togari ba mix
with sunagashi and kinsuji attached.

Special feature : There are not many information of Yamashiro kami MInamoto Ippou
but from the Ha, it seem that it is a former sign on a wordsmith.
This blade has good hamon mixture and well made piece.

Koshirae : Handachi koshirae.
Tsuba : Iron tsuba with rim covered in shakudou.
On the ji, there is a flying folk engraved and inlayed with gold.
Fuchikashira :Shakudou base with dragon engraved. It is inlayed with gold.
Saya : Brown kawarinuri saya.
Menuki : Shakudou base with bird design engraved.
