Habaki : Gold foiled double habaki
Blade length : 55.2 cm or 21.73 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.71 cm or 1.06 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.75 cm or 0.68 inches.
Kasane : 0.55 cm or 0.21 inches.
Era : Muromachi period.
Shape : It is regular size shape. The nakago is cutten shorten 6 cm.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with mixture of Masame style. There is stick like utsuri seen.
Hamon : Nie base suguha with nijyuuba. Ashi is well attached. Boshi is round ended.
Special feature : The piece show the characteristic of Kongo Hyouei.
The origin of kongou Hyouei school started from the Kamakura period and lasted until late Muromachi period.
They were successful at the Kamado Shrine at Dazaifu city,
Kyushu and gradually moved to HIrato, Toyogo, and Kurume area.
Tsuba : Yamagane base
Fuchi : Iron base with karakusa pattern engraved and inlayed with gold.
Kashira: Shakudou nanakoji base with dragon design engraved and inlayed with gold.
Saya : Black color saya.There are a few flaws around Koikuchi.
Menuki : It is large size oar.
Kozuka : Shakudou base with demon and goddess engraved and inlayed with gold.
Kogatana : There is an signature but it is unclear.
