The mixture of Koshihiraki Gunome Midare and Choji Midare.
This is typical Ouei Bizen blade. Yuhin. Blade length is 51.33cm
by Mr. Tanobe in 2015.
Chu Koto: Jyo saku: Owazamono: Bizen.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to JyoJyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :
Blade length : 51.33cm or 20.22inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.65 cm or 1.04 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 0.82 cm or 0.32 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Muromachi period, around Ouei era(1403).
Shape : Regular size Wakizashi. There are Bo-Hi and Soe-Hi.
Jigane : The mixture of Itame Hada and Mokume Hada. There are Chikei.
The is beautiful Ouei Bizen Jigane.
Hamon : Ko-Nie Deki, Choji Midare with many Ashi. The Hamon is large.
The Nioikuchi is bright. Boshi is Midarekomi Togari shape.
Special feature : Morimitsu and Yasumitsu are the head the list of Ouei Bizen.
Especially, Morimistu excel at Choji-Ha. Yasumitsu's blades are many Sugu-Ha.
They have a good reputation. The best of sword smith is Morimitsu.
This blade has incredible Jigane and brilliant Choji Midare Hamon.
Recently, it is hard to obtain the Ouei Bizen swords.
We recommend this blade.

Saya : Black color Kizami Saya.
Tsuba : Round shape, Shakudo Tsuba, Aoi family crest is engraved.
Menuki : Shakudo, Aoi family crest is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka: Shakudo Ishime-Ji, Aoi family crest is engraved with gold color.
Kogai: Shakudo, Aoi family crest is engraved with gold color.
Back ground of the age:1399(ouei 6th): Ouni no Ran occurred.
Daimyo Yoshihiro Ouuchi revolted Japanese feudal Muromachi government
and stayed at the castle Sakai province but defeated.
