The blade was polished.
Blade length : 41.4  cm or 16.3inches.
Sori : 1.7 cm or 0.67inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.07cm or 1.2 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.63cm or 1.04inches.
Kasane : 0.88cm or 0.35inches.
Era : Middle Muromachi period.
Shape : Oosuriage mumei(Cutten shorten tang). It was originally a Nagamaki that is cut shortened and is now a wakizashi. It is rather thick and magnificent looking wakizashi with
some curve at the top end.
Jitetsu :Itame hada well grained with long chikei and some white shirake utsuri seen.
Hamon : NIe base suguha with gunome mixed. Ashi is seen in the ha. There is also yakizume
style(temper line in boshi with no turn back).

Special feature : Chikushi Ryokai was one of Rai school and moved to Kyushu Buzen province.
He got hints from the Toyogo blades during his craft.
Unlike the Yamashiro Ryokai blades the jigane is different and the hamon is suguha base.
