Signature : Mumei Kodai Hojyu(later generation Hojyu)

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 51.36 cm or 20.22 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.34 cm or 1.31 inches.
Kasane : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
Weight of only blade : 560 grams.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with rather sori gorgeous looking Nagamaki .
Jitetsu : Itame had and mokume had mix with jinie attach and chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with togari gunome midare mixed with kasha and sunagashi work.
Boshi is small round shape.

Special feature : The motohaba(width) is wide(3,24cm) gorgeous big nice looking shape.
Even though the blade has oohada but some part is excellent well grained Jigane.
From the Hamon and Jigane, the blade looks like Kodai(later generation) Hojyu.
