The blade was polished
Habaki :Gold single foiled habaki
Blade length : 40.3cm or 15.86 inches.
Sori : 1.15cm or 0.45 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.61 cm or 1.02 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.97 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.59 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Early Muromachi Period
Shape : It is O-suriage mumei sword. It is normal size width and thickness.
There is sori and kissaki is long ended.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained. clear hada and chikei makes the jitetsu look
absolutely beautiful.
Hamon : Suguha structed with some uchinoke activity seen. Ashi and yo is active inside the hamon.
Boshi is round end with brush up style.

Special feature : Tegai has descended the Yamato group style where they keep the suguha style until the last generation. Alike this piece, most of the Tegai sword is in suguha style with ashi attached and many kinsuji works. This sword is in extremely fine condition despite the fact that it is cut shorten sword.

Koshirae : Issaku Koshirae
It is brilliant koshirae. It is wonderful koshirae.
Tsuba : Shakudo plate mokko shape ishimeji texture tsuba.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo plate with flower design engraved and inlayed with gold.
Saya : There is lympet sparkles with wave pattern drawn in gold.
Menuki : On shakudo plate, flower design is engraved and inlayed with gold.
Kurigata: On shakudo plate, flower design is engraved and inlayed with gold.
Kozuka : Signature: Nao○ On shakudo plate, flower design is engraved and inlayed with gold.
