This sword Mutsu Kami Tachibana Terumasa belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
habaki:copper single habaki.
Blade length : 56.2cm or 22.12 inches.
Sori : 0.6cm or 0.23 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.94 cm or 1.15 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.09 cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.7cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Jokyo era. 1684-1687
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with small sori which is called Kanbun shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki with thick nioikuchi suguha
from the hamachi and then gunome midair hamon noter style. Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Mutsu Kami Terumasa was born at Iyo province and then moved to under the Ise Kami Kuniteru.
He worked there and rise up his skill. After that he moved to Iyo and worked for Ise Kami Kuniteru and after that he succeeded 2nd generation Kuniteru.
This sword looks like 1st generation Miyoshi nagamichi Aizu province.
This sword is remarkable work for Terumasa.
The blade is healthy and fantastic quality's hamon and Jigane.

Tsuba :On the round shape iron stub, landscape is engraved wit gold color: Edo period.
Fuchikashira :On the iron plate, cow is engraved by syakudo plate.
Saya : red brown color ishimeji saya: Late Edo period.
Menuki : Menpo is engraved by syakudo plate with gold color.
Kojiri:On the iron plate, some design is engraved: Jyakusi style: Edo period
