Wakizashi : Echizen Kuni Jyu Kanenori.

Wakizashi in Shirasaya (Guarantee : NBTHK Hozon Token)

Signature : Echizen Kuni Jyu Kanenori.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Double copper habaki.
Blade length : 39.8 cm or 15.66 inches.
Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.28 cm or 1.29 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanei era.
Shape : The blade is wide(3,28cm) and thick with sakizori style.
On the front,Bo-Hi is engraved and on the back, Gomabashi is engraved.
The blade is powerful gorgeous shape.
Jitetsu : Itame had and mokume had mixed well grained Jigane blackish sosyu style powerful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki with thick nioikuxhi wavy temper line with gunome midair mixed.
In hamon, sunagasi work. Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Echizen Kuni Jyu Kanenori achieved a stream of the Mino Kanenori was working at Echizen province.
Probably he had a lot of influenced from other sword makers like Sosyu style.
This sword has well grained blackish jigane and wavy temper line like Kunihiro, Dewa Daijyo Kunimichi which was influenced Sosyu school.
