The blade was polished.
Habaki: Copper double foiled habaki
Blade length : 46.0 cm or 18.11inches.
Sori : 1.6cm or 0.62inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.12cm or 1.23inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.81cm or 1.1inches.
Kasane : 0、73cm or 0.29inches.
Era : Edo period Circa Kanei
Shape : It is wide and thick firm Shobu Zukuri piece and there is deep sori. It is nice shape piece.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is clear and well grained jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki with some ashi and yo attached. The blade has deep nioiguchi.

Special feature : Masanaga is from Iyo Matusyama procinve and has studied along with his Father Osakuni from Umetada Myocihin. They focused on making sharp swords.
Miyoshi Nagamichi, the son of Masanaga has learned forging skills from his father and became famous for making Saijyo O-wazamono swords.
This piece is Shobu zukuri shape with much width and thickness. It is flawless excellent piece of work.
