Wakizashi : Sosyu Jyu Tsunahiro

Wakizashi in Shirasaya, with Koshirae (NBTHk Tokubetsu Kicyo Token) (guarantee NBTHK Hozon Token)

The blade was polished.
Habakki : Copper double habaki.
Blade length : 36.3 cm or 14.29 inches.
Sori : 0.5 cm or 0.19 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.81 cm or 1.10 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period, Eisyo era.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and regular size thickness and sakizori style.
In the front, Ken and Dokko are engraved and on the back, Bonji and Hitasuji ho are engraved.
Jitetsu : Itame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki hitatsura hamon with sunagashi and kinsuji work.

Special feature : At Nanbokucyo period, famous Hiromitsu and Akihiro were working and made Hitatsura hamon.
After that, Hasebe school made same hamon.
Tsunahiro made Hitatsura hamon and this school Tsunahiro continued till late Edo period.
This group ia also famous for Horimpno which is called Sosyu hormone.
This sword is good Horimono and nice Hitatsura hamon.
It reminds us Nanbokucyo era Hasebe Kunishige.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the syakudo plain plate, a dragon is engraved.
The signature is mentioned as Somin(not reliable signature)
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo plate, men and bridge are engraved with gold color.
Saya : On the black roar saya, a dragon is painted.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate, men and bridge are engraved with gold color.
Kozuka : On the copper nanako plate, some design is engraved with gold color.
